With over 15 years of construction and kitchen design experience, Les Carr is a welcome addition to the AmeriSpec team. Les is also a Registered Energy Advisor as recognized by Natural Resources Canada, a Certified Commercial Building Inspector, having successfully completed the CDW (Carson Dunlop Weldon) Commercial Building Inspection course, and he is also certified by WETT, Inc. as a SITE Basic inspector. Les is heavily involved in the Salvation Army Church and Kingston community. He has participated in local events as a musician/music technician and coached minor league hockey. Les has called Kingston home for 23 years and is a proud serving member of the Kingston community.
Les Carr, from AmeriSpec Home Inspections of Kingston, has become a Certified Residential Thermographer (CRT). The CRT certification is nationally recognized by the American Society of Home Inspectors and the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors. Home inspectors successfully completing the CRT certification requirements learn about the science of thermal imaging, methods of heat transfer, and thermal capacities. They also learn about the limitations of thermal imaging and how to avoid false readings. By becoming a CRT, a home inspector can provide a more thorough home inspection by detecting electrical, moisture, energy issues, and even pests, such as termites and bees, which the naked eye can’t see.
